Kaspersky has a very clean and easy-to-use interface. The program is divided with three tabs- protection, settings and support. Within each tab, you can choose from several other functions.

This software is perfect for the average home user and advanced users. For home users, who don't want to get too technical, there is recommended settings and an easy-to-find scan button that will instantly start to scan your computer based on these settings. More advanced users can go into the settings tab and completely customize what they would like the program to do.

Kaspersky comes with three types of scan levels: Maximum - thoroughly scans all files, self-extracting archives, startup objects, disk boot sectors, system memory and email format files. Normal - covers everything the maximum setting covers minus email format files. High Speed - scans everything minus the email format files, archives and startup objects.

Like the #1 product, Kaspersky passed the ICSA 2007 and the West Coast Labs Checkmark level 1 and 2 as well as the VB100% in the August of 2007 awards. These awards mean the software detected all of the “in the wild” viruses, generated no false positives, prevented virus replication and disinfected all of the viruses that could be disinfected.

Besides being very thorough and reliable, it only took eight minutes for us to scan an 80 GB hard drive. This anti-virus software is so fast you won't have to set aside hours to scan your computer or set it up to run at night.

By default, Kaspersky updates their definitions on an hourly basis, which blows away the competition. This leaves a very small window for a virus to be created and infect your machine. Alternatively, you can configure the program so you can receive automatic updates or you can manually update your program.

Furthermore, the updates will resume if your Internet connection is interrupted, and the cumulative updates, the ones that contain the entire virus database, are only half the size they used to be. The latest version employs a special technology so the program will use already existing anti-virus database for a cumulative update.

You can choose which files you would like Kaspersky to scan by simply right clicking on the file. You can even select a number of files to scan or just scan your entire computer.

If the software detects a virus there are a number of things you can have the software do. It can just delete the file, notify you that it has found an infected file or log the information for later use.

During each scan, there is an estimated time to finish so you can plan accordingly.

I meni se ne svidja Kasperski, nod takodje koristim ali je i on sranje zivo. Ali me mrzi da instaliram drugi

Uzmite AVG, kažu da je nejbolji, uopšte ne guši mašimu, a efikasan je.

E ja sam imao mislim i dalje imam NOD32. I sad on kaze da je sve ok kad skeniram kompis. Uzmem ja skoro pa narezem drugarici jedan disk sa sitnim igricama i odnesem. Ona ima AVG. Cim sam ubacio disk AVG odma primeti virus. Sto je dokaz da je nod govno zivo. E pazi sad sinoc odem ja kod nje zezamo se i iz cista mira kompis provali virus. Dok ja procitam on nestade. Ja pustim AVG da skenira ceo kompjuter, on skenira, skenira sve zivo i nista nije naso. E sad ja se zbunih kako moze. Posle nekog vremena AVg ponovo registrova virus iz cista mira. Ja brzo sam uhvatio schreenshot i snimio sam ga u paintu da vidim lokaciju. Naravno sranje izbrisem. On kaze da se virus nalazi na [email]C/SystemVolumeInformation/345@6[/email]... neki tamo brojevi. Ja odem na C particiju ali tamo naravno to ne postoji. ima Program Files, Windows i jos dva foldera ali nigde systemvolumeinformation. Trazio sam nekoliko minuta ko majmun dok sam shvatio da virus zaista postoji ali ga AVG ne primecuje. I taj virus ne samo sto daje pogresne informacije, nego daje nepostojace informacije. Hocu da kazem da u sustini svaki antivirus je sranje ali neki mora da se ima
